Description:
This battery grip offers a better handling of the camera when you are holding the camera in a vertical position or using heavy lenses. Due to the antislip grip surface the camera lies safely in your hands.

The grip is equipped with a two-step release button that is easier to reach during portrait shots than the release button of the camera. In addition the battery grip has two thumb wheels and AF-ON-button for focussing. This control element performs the same operations as their counterpart on the camera. The shutter release lock locks the release button and control element.

The scope of delivery includes two changeable battery holders. They hold a Nikon EN-EL3e, EN-EL4, EN-EL4a rechargeable battery or eight AA batteries.

At the bottom side is a tripod socket where you can attach a tripod.
